Image Keep is a privately operated image-hosting service intended primarily for members of participating roleplaying game communities. Use of Image Keep is a privilege rather than a public entitlement, and access may be limited, suspended, or withdrawn at the administrator's discretion when necessary to protect the service or its members.
Account Eligibility
Image Keep accounts are not open to the general public. Accounts are intended for members of roleplaying communities hosted or approved by the Image Keep administrator. Eligible members may use their accounts for reasonable image-hosting needs associated with other roleplaying games and communities as well.
Users must be at least 18 years of age to create or maintain an Image Keep account. By creating or using an account, a user represents that they meet this minimum age requirement.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and should not share account credentials with others.
Permitted Use
Image Keep may be used to host character artwork, avatars, signatures, game graphics, screenshots, banners, reference images, short animations, and other reasonable visual material related to roleplaying and similar personal creative use.
Direct linking, hotlinking, and embedding of hosted images on roleplaying forums, Discord, and similar community platforms is permitted and encouraged.
Prohibited Content
Nudity is not permitted on Image Keep. Image Keep does not host nude, pornographic, or sexually explicit imagery. This restriction applies regardless of whether the content is photographic, illustrated, rendered, computer-generated, or AI-generated.
Ordinary non-explicit character artwork, romantic imagery, swimwear, fantasy costumes, shirtless characters, and similar material are not automatically prohibited provided they do not depict nudity or sexually explicit activity.
The following content is also prohibited:
- Any sexual content involving minors or persons depicted as minors, whether real, fictional, illustrated, rendered, or AI-generated.
- Illegal material or content whose possession or distribution is unlawful.
- Malicious files, malware, phishing material, or content intended to compromise another person's device, account, or privacy.
- Content uploaded primarily to harass, threaten, intimidate, impersonate, or expose private information about another person.
- Material that clearly infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights when the uploader does not have permission or another lawful basis to use it.
- Content intended primarily for commercial file distribution, mass storage, or other uses unrelated to the purpose of Image Keep.
Copyright and Ownership
Users retain whatever ownership rights they hold in material they upload. Image Keep does not claim ownership of user-uploaded images.
By uploading content, users confirm that they own the material, have permission to use it, or otherwise have a lawful right to upload and display it. Users are responsible for the material stored under their accounts.
Storage and Fair Use
Image Keep is intended to provide generous image hosting for a relatively small roleplaying community. There is currently no charge or subscription fee for eligible members.
Users should use storage reasonably and may not treat Image Keep as a general-purpose backup service, software archive, large-scale video host, commercial content-delivery network, or unrestricted file warehouse.
The administrator may remove abandoned, abusive, excessive, or inappropriate content when necessary to preserve storage space, security, performance, or the intended purpose of the service.
Moderation and Account Action
Content that violates these Terms may be removed without prior notice. Serious or repeated violations may result in upload restrictions, account suspension, or account removal.
The administrator may also remove content or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect Image Keep, its hosting provider, its users, or third parties.
Availability and Backups
Image Keep is provided as a free community service and is offered on an "as available" basis. Continuous availability, permanent storage, or uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Users should retain their own copies of important images. Image Keep should not be treated as the sole backup location for irreplaceable material.
If Image Keep must ever be permanently discontinued, the administrator will make a reasonable effort to notify members in advance whenever circumstances allow.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as Image Keep grows, hosting requirements change, or new security and moderation issues arise. Continued use of Image Keep after a material change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions or Problems
Image Keep does not operate a general public support or contact system. Eligible members should contact the administrator through the normal communication channels of their participating roleplaying community if they need assistance or need to report a problem.
